the bleeding

It looks like none other than Ryan Gosling has been signed up to star in the long discussed "Logan's Run" remake. Which is exciting because never in my life did I think I would hear my wife utter the words "Honey, I really want to see Logan's Run".

If you're going to buy one toy this year that doesn't require a black bag when walking out of the store then make it the new "The Walking Dead" toys coming from the good people at McFarlane Toys. Two series will be released from the comic book/TV show and the first set will hit shelves this September.

The second clip for "The Bleeding", which stars Kat Von D, DMX and 37 other people you don't think should be acting has hit the net and it is chock full of everything except bleeding. Well alright it's missing a lot of things but really there's not way to have EVERYTHING in one clip is there? Whales, a clown and the Sears Tower... physically impossible to have in the same shot. Think about it.

It looks like Simon West will direct the upcoming remake of "Red Sonja" and right now Amber Heard is the front runner to star. You'll remember West as the director of "Con-Air" and you'll see Heard getting deflowered by Nic Cage in "Drive Angry". I'm not saying if this is a good or bad thing.

This isn't a trailer for the "Mother's Day" remake but it is some sort of international sales promo that's found it's way online. Truth be told I've read the synopsis and watched the video and I'm still not 100% sure what the movie is about but it still looks pretty dandy. I assume it takes place on mothers day, right? Someone? I'm so confused and frightened.

"Gut" is a indie movie about two guys who end up watching some sort of awful movie based on one of the guy's suggestions and things get weird. They don't tell you what the movie is but my guess is it's some sort of snuff, autopsy or French film. Feel free to make your own guesses.

James Franco is set to direct and star in a new film about the real life slasher Richard Ramirez, better know as "The Night Stalker". Here's the fun part, Soundgarden front man Chris Cornell is also set to produce the film. Just tossing this out there, but what about getting that guy from Crazytown to compose the score?

If you had to put together the greatest cast of all time who would you pick? Don't bother thinking about it because the makers of "The Bleeding" have already done it. The answer? Vinnie Jones, Michael Matthias, Michael Madsen, DMX, Armand Assante and Kat Von D. Take a few minutes to compose yourself before checking out the clip because you might vomit from excitement.

For those of you that think vampires have grown a bit too soft and emo these days, you might be excited to hear that Vinnie Jones has signed on to star in "The Bleeding". Vinnie Jones; vampire hunter? Sounds good to me.

Jesse Eisenberg, star of "Zombieland" is bringing us more horror, this time in a movie called "Camp Hope". No zombies this time around, instead we watch as Jesse faces inherent evil as it invades a children's spiritual retreat! "This one time... at Jesus camp..."

Screenwriter Akiva Golddman, responsible for such films as "I Am Legend" and "Batman and Robin" bring news of a new version of "Swamp Thing" is in development. Goldsmsn explains that they hope to keep the character closer to Alan Moore's comic book creature as opposed to the incarnations we've had so far.

Those of you that were fearing the inevitable announcement of "Scary Movie 5" can put those fears to rest. Instead, you can dredge up a whole new host of fears as the Weinsteins opt to go with a "Scary Movie" reboot. "Scary Movie 1: Again". Nothing snarky here, I'm just going to let that one soak in a bit.
