Aka the most exciting week of Carl's life...

Remember when I told you that Jen and Sylvia Soska would be directing "See No Evil 2", the sequel to the 2006 direct to video flick starring the WWE's Kane? No I didn't think you would but I felt like i should ask anyway. Well they are, and now it looks like the first two ladies to be cast in the project are none other than Danielle Harris and Katharine Isabelle. I have no idea what the first one was about but this one apparently follows the same killer from the first as he stalks a group of medical students. Or something. Who cares really. Maybe the two of them will kiss or something.

Christian Serratos, who you probably remember from "Twilight", is the latest name to be added to the upcoming fourth season of "The Walking Dead". She'll play Rosita Espinosa (Muy caliente!) a survivor who runs into our merry gang of zombie killers. Just kidding, if you remember her from "Twilight" then you're a loser and you like loser things! Just kidding again, team Jacob 4 life.

The "Terminator" reboot will be released into theaters on Wednesday, July 1, 2015. Because weekends are for pricks.

"Insidious 3" has been confirmed to be happening now that "Insidious: Chapter 2" pulled in $41 million this past weekend. Leigh Whannell will once again pen the script but no word on if James Wan will once again return to direct. One thing is for sure though, I will most likely come up with a half assed excuse as to why I can't see it for the podcast. No, but seriously, I had a lot crap going on this weekend. You don't know me!

So. Much. Poop.

James Wan's "The Conjuring" will make it's big debut at the Los Angeles Film Festival on June 21st. The film is supposedly based on a true story of two paranormal investigators who try to help a family being terrorized by an evil spirit. The film will then see a wide release on July 19th. I will be on a podcast shortly after that talking about how the whole thing is BS.

I've been holding off on seeing the Hammer classic "Dracula: Prince of Darkness" for 35 years because there has yet to be a US Blu-Ray release for the film. I know, it's weird that I would take a firm stance for so long considering that Blu-Ray hasn't even been around for 10 years. Well good news for me because the Christopher Lee blood sucker is finally coming our way thanks to Millennium Entertainment on September 3rd. I'll be chock full of commentary, behind the scenes features and other extras. I don't pretend to understand my madness.

Daniel Radcliffe doesn't have half the forehead that Christina Ricci has but still he's going to play Igor in Paul McGuigan's "Frankenstein". I'm not really sure why you need a big forehead for that but the film has been slapped with a October 17, 2014 release date so let's see how Radcliffe does with this bold casting move. Again I don't really know why Ricci's big forehead would make her a better choice but I stand by my statement.

Adam McKay , the guy who produced "Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters", has let out that director Tommy Wirkola is being let loose to make the sequel as balls out as he'd like. I guess that also means if the follow up is a pile of doody it's all Wirkola's fault but let's look on the positive side here.

"The Warren Files" is a new 4 hour documentary of people reading facebook posts about actor Warren Beatty. Iit's being directed by "Insidious" love child James Wan and has just received a release date of January 25, 2013. Wait no, I'm sorry. That's completely wrong. It's about some sort of haunted Rhode Island farmhouse or something. I have no idea where the Warren Beatty thing came from.

I'm so jacked up on coffee and Swedish Fish right now that I can't even see straight, but I think "Dragon Wasps" is going to be the next "Avatar". It's coming to DVD on September 24th. It's about giant freakin' wasps that fly around the freakin' rainforest killing people. I hope they make a sequel where they fly around the Rainforest Cafe. That would be so god damn awesome.

We all love the 1985 classic "Re-Animator." If you don't, you're some kind of prick face or something. Prick faces don't get to enjoy the new exciting Blu-Ray version of the flick that will hit shelves on September 4. They also wont get to view the documentary being included, or the interviews, or listen to the audio commentary. They will also not be invited to my annual BBQ and POG trading jamboree this year. Sucks to be you, prick faces.

Something called "Bloody Bloody Bible Camp" is going to be hitting VOD, iTunes, Amazon and smoke signals this Friday. I don't think I really need to explain anything else.
