Snapshots: Ohay there, Danielle Harris ("Dead.tv")

I'm not all that interested in this movie, called "Dead.tv", but I'd like to shake the hand of the man who got Eric Roberts and Danielle Harris together for this publicity still. I propose their next film is a remake of "Bonnie and Clyde". Just imagine it...

Blu Ray Alert: "Halloween 4" and "Halloween 5"

The Halloween series has always been a favorite of mine. Honestly, I liked everything up until the Paul Rudd one ("Halloween 6"), which is kind of sad because I love me some Paul Rudd. And yes, for those of you that are asking, I even love "Halloween 3: Season of the Witch". But back on point, on August 21, Anchor Bay will be revamping two of my favorite movies from the series, "Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers" and "Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers".

Michael Biehn's "The Victim" to be Featured at Horror Fests

Michael Biehn's upcoming grind house film "The Victim" has been selected to play at the Fantasia Film Fest and Frightfest UK. Shot in 12 days, from a script he wrote in 3 weeks, Biehn's "The Victim" follows good time girls Annie and Mary as they find themselves in a life and death situation. Annie’s life is put in jeopardy when she is witness to a violent act at the hands of two Sheriff’s Deputies.  With her pursuers closing in, she stumbles across Kyle, a recluse living in the middle of the woods. "The Victim" stars Michael Biehn, Jennifer Blanc, Ryan Honey and Danielle Harris.

Horror Headlines: Tuesday, April 24th, 2011

if there's one thing no one can deny it's that supermodels can act the hell out of any movie. So the news that Abbey Lee Kershaw, who's 24 and doesn't look a day over 40, has joined the cast of "Mad Max: Fury Road" is just wonderful for all involved. Especially if the role calls for chain smoking and drinking black coffee. Cause ya know I think that's how models stay thin. I don't know, I'm 40 pounds overweight.

Danielle Harris has been confirmed for the cast of Adam Green's "Hatchet III". In related news I've been confirmed to be drinking myself into a stupor and bragging to my 9 month old daughter about how I was popular in High School this coming Friday night.

Everyone's favorite giant haired writer Charlie Kaufman has been tapped to write the big screen adaptation of the young adult novel "Chaos Walking". The book tells the tale of a future world where a strange virus makes all thought audible. I assume the outcome is a lot of men getting slapped and having drinks thrown in their faces. Just my guess.

Doug Bradley, who's loved by all for playing Pinhead and Roxanne McKee, who's loved by me for her hatred of wearing clothes, have both been confirmed for the cast of "Wrong Turn 5". I'm not going to bother going over the film's plot. There's a lot of cars and a lot of wrong turns. It's pretty much a given.

In Real People News:

I've had many a screaming matches in parking lots over people who have stolen my space. I've never resorted to biting someone's face though. Well done San Francisco woman, well done.

If you've been a dick to your wife for a long time and she suddenly offers you a massage it should probably set off a few alarms that she isn't being on the up and up. If she starts to use gasoline instead of oil it should set off some giant horns. And if you haven't figured it out by the time she lights you on fire you're pretty much an idiot.

Trailers: Danielle Harris' "Among Friends"

With recent rumbling's that Danielle Harris' directorial debut "Among Friends" may be starting to see the light of day, I thought we'd take a look at the teaser trailer that was released. The film, which is described as a horror movie, with dark comedy elements, about a dinner party gone wrong. Set against an 80's backdrop, good times take a dark turn when one in the group hijacks the evening in the name of integrity. Through an attempt to help the others come clean about secret betrayals against one another, it’s revealed who's willing to cut through the bone to expose the truth.

Trailer: "Devil's Night" (2011)

Our favorite little scream queen Danielle Harris stars in the Canadian film, "Devil's Night" about a masked killer who stalks a fraternity and their girlfriends. Why would anyone want to bump off a bunch of fraternity brothers one by one you ask? Well, it just so happens that this fraternity was involved in a Halloween prank the year before that resulted in the death of a teen. "Devil's Night" is written and directed by Christopher Harrison and stars Danielle Harris, Steve Byers and Shawn Roberts.

Horror Headlines: Friday August 5th, 2011

Corbin Blue, who you all probably know from "High School Musical" has signed on to a new flick titled "Nurse 3D" along side "30 Rock" star Katrina Bowden. Bowden will play a nurse (shocker I know) who has some murderous tendencies in her free time. Blue will play her love struck boyfriend. I can't believe this is the first time a "High School Musical" tag has been used on the site.

Mother of god it angers me to no end when a red band trailer is released and there's nothing you couldn't show in a normal trailer. Ladies and gentlemen the people behind "Wrong Turn 4" have gotten it right. The newly released trailer for the lost in the snow flick is chock full of blood and boobs. I almost cried tears of joy. Feel free to use that quote for the DVD box.

Billy Zane and Danielle Harris in the same movie? I was so excited when I heard about this I pass out and busted my head open. After a solid 3 hours in the emergency room I returned to my computer to tell you all about "The Ghost of Goodnight Lane". The film is about a film crew who discover a dead body at their studio and quickly realized they're being haunted. Wait this is straight to DVD? How the hell is that possible?

I've never hid that fact that I am moist with excitement about the upcoming spooky mansion flick "Don't be Afraid of the Dark". Seriously, I've gone through 37 pairs of underwear in the past week alone. And the new clip that's just hit the tubes has got me absolutely gushing now. All kinds of creepy with little demon looking things hopping around. Oh man! This has to be the most disgusting post I've ever written.

In Real People News:

Apparently it's illegal to try to build a nuclear reactor in your kitchen in Sweden. News to me, but here's a guy who got arrested for just such a thing. Of course he was documenting the entire thing and posting it online. Even if I thought it was legal I wouldn't go telling people about it just to be safe.

And here's a sad story of discrimination in Idaho. A man is being forced by police to stop flexing his god given right to dress in a bunny costume and sport a tutu while prancing around town striking fear into the heart of its residents. Sad I know. Of he was apparently also hiding behind trees and pointing his finger at kids like a gun. That might have something to do with it.

I've never hidden that fact that I want to make a sweet sweet baby with the original "The Amityville Horror" and now I'm giddy with delight over the green lighting of "The Amityville Horror: The Lost Tapes". The movie, which is set for a 2012 release, will focus on a journalist trying to uncover the true story behind the house after the events of the first film. Will it be awful? Mostly likely but F you, I want to see some bleeding walls!

Universal has decided to push the start date of Ron Howard's adaptation of Stephen King's "The Dark Tower" after rumors were flying around that they might pass on the 3 movie series all together. Why would they do this? I don't know, I'm not allowed in these meetings. Have you seen my wardrobe? They're not going to let a jackass in dirty jeans and a "Don't Mess With Texas" t-shirt into a big fancy executive meeting.

I'm a cynical asshole, by nature, and because of that it pains me more than anything else in the world to admit the trailer for the "Fright Night" remake actually looks really really good. And I'm not even saying that because Colin Farrell is a dreamy SOB. On a side note. When the hell did we find out this movie was going to be in 3D? I could have sworn two weeks ago we found out the cast. Now it's releasing in August? Where the hell have I been?!

Danielle Harris has become the go to gal for horror movies that aren't going to be released in theaters so here's the trailer for "Shiver", a horror movie she stars in that I'm 99% sure is only going to play in 17 theaters across the country. What the hell do I know though, it's got the guy from "Starship Troopers". Anyway the film focuses on a secretary who fights back after being assaulted by a serial killer. Rae Dawn Chong is in it too... take that however you want.

In Real People News:

Sometimes there's a news story that's so awful it just makes you smile. Then it makes you try to figure out what the hell is wrong with you for smiling. Here's a story about an Illinois man who had a house guest who wouldn't leave. So he tossed gasoline on him and lit him on fire. Are you smiling? Yeah you are you sick prick.

And because I get a kick out of making you feel like you need another shower, here's a story about a guy who is being forced to undergo evaluation after he slapped and rubbed the genitals of his pet Chihuahua in the common area of his apartment complex. Are you still smiling? You belong in hell... sicko.

Horror Headlines: Monday April 11th, 2011

The first trailer for Lars Von Trier's new end of the world flick "Melancholia" has hit the tubes and much to my surprise it looks fairly un-hammer-to-the-penis-like. Yes that women who took a hammer to William Defeo's penis in "Antrichrist" is in this movie, so you keep thinking about it, but there's nothing to lead me to believe that's going to happen again. God I hope that doesn't happen again.

Speaking of Willem Dafoe and his lumbering manbits, they'll both be in the upcoming big screen adaptation of Dean Kootz's "Odd Thomas". The story focuses on a cook who's able to speak to the dead. Defoe plays a police chief who knows the young lad's secret. I have no clue if Defoe's member will be playing a different role.

It looks as if Rob Hall's "Fear Clinic" mini-series will be making it's way to the big screen, and Danielle Harris and Robert Englund are both on board for the magic. For those of you who aren't familiar with the series or Rob Hall's spiky hair, it follows a group of patients who come to a clinic in order to cure the phobias that run their lives. Much like the god awful fear I have of Willem Dafoe's privates. Let's keep this going!

Jessica Biel his apparently been offered a role in the upcoming "Total Recall" remake. No confirmation on which role she's been offered but chances are it's one of the two leads. She doesn't seem like the kind of girl who would be into playing that big women who has an exploding head or the three boobed hooker. Then again what do I know, I'm still focused on Willem Dafoe's flim flam. Happy Monday folks!

In Real People News:

I have no idea if there's a bestiality handbook out there, but I don't think you need one to know you don't do it in your backyard. But it looks like this 17 year old in New Zealander doesn't know that because he's been convicted of the animal nasty after his neighbor saw him making love to his cat. Yeah I said it, making love.

After 64 years on this planet you've got to be struggling for ideas on how to celebrate your birthday. But this Florida man came up with something new, he flashed a school bus full of kids! I would of gone with a trip to Denny's, I'm pretty sure you eat for free. But flashing a bunch of kids would be a close second.
