american psycho

Horror Headlines: Monday, December 12th, 2011

How the hell can there be a trailer for a movie that doesn't come out for 5 months?! Someone needs to explain this to me. But here's the first trailer for "Men In Black 3" which doesn't come out till May 25th. I assume the DVD will be released sometime in April though so look for that.

So there's an "American psycho" remake coming obviously and today we've got some exciting news on who might be taking the lead role of Patrick Bateman. Or really I should say who novelist Bret Easton Ellis is demanding take the role or he isn't going to sign off on the film. Who does he want? Scott Disick or Miles Fisher of course. For those of you keeping track at home that's the guy who's married to one of the Kardashian's or the guy who played Tom Cruise in "Superhero Movie". It's so hard to choose, maybe both of them can split the movie.

If there's one thing the world needs more of it's vampire/comedy/horror/romance/revenge flicks. Oh and there's also some signs that lead me to believe that "Bloodsucka Jones" might be a soft core porn. But other than that the trailer looks awesome. Or maybe I should say because of that the trailer looks awesome. I don't know. I'm not god!

I don't even know what to say about this. Here's a bunch of stills and a trailer for the new zombie flick fresh out of Taiwan called "Zombie 108". Alright I'll be honest it doesn't look that crazy or anything, standard run of the mill end of the world zombie take over movie, but I'm really tired and I really have no idea what to say. I'm a giant let down I know.

Home made penis enlargements never seem to work. Trust me! But here's a guy in New Jersey who's girlfriend took it upon herself to give him one and he died. Now she's in jail with a bunch of women and no penises. Should have been happy with what you had, sister.

And here's a heartwarming story about a Florida family who stole the Christmas decorations of their neighbor's yard and set them up in their own. Needless to say they got caught. Santa is always watching.

9 Over-done Halloween Costumes

As Andy Williams once sang, "It's the most wonderful time of the year"! Sure, he was talking about a different holiday, but I think you'll all agree with me that the statement is just as fitting for Halloween! It's a time to get spooky, a time to get scary. A time to transform yourself into a wholly different character that resembles nothing of your true self and be somebody else for a night!

And who doesn't love that?

Do you need some more Patrick Batman in your life? Well then, you're in luck. It appears that "American Psycho" is becoming a musical. Let's hope there's ample time for Bateman's snappy impression of "Huey Lewis and the News".

There's more teen oriented horror coming to The CW, this time in a new show entitled Betwixt. They've done monster hunters and other various supernatural things, this time we're facing changeling's charged with saving humanity! I feel safer already.

On February 16th, you'll be able to take your horror with you on the crapper. South Peak games will be releasing "Dementium II", a survival horror FPS for the Nintendo DS. At least in this format when it scares the shit out of you, you'll already be in position.

Vampires are the hot commodity right now and as such, we may soon be seeing the return of Dracula himself. Producers are readying "The Last Voyage of the Demeter", a prequel story centered on the count and his voyage over seas to England.

Disturbing fact #1: bestiality was legal in the Netherlands up until now as long as it could be proven that the animal was not injured. Disturbing fact #2: bestiality is so rampant that they had to pass legislation to prevent it.

In the wake of Brittany Murphy's death, DVD rental source Redbox scrambled to pull the cover art from Murphy's last film, "Deadline" across the country. The images of the actress lying dead in a bathtub felt a little too close to home for Redbox... they're probably right.

This Must be the Place for American Psycho

Miles Fisher, an actor who has appeared in television shows such as MadMen and Gossip Girl is now venturing into music with his take on The Talking Heads most romantic song, "This Must Be the Place." A song that would not seem to suit "American Psycho" so well. But that assumption would be wrong, because Fisher nails so many of "American Psycho's" best scenes to this tune that I now won't be able to think of anything remotely romantic while listening to it... now it's more like the thought of driving an axe into someone's skull. Let's just say, it definitely adds depth. har har.
