As it turns out, Etsy isn't just a place to buy horribly overpriced old stuff labeled as "vintage", or hand knitted cat-hats... nope, if you dig beneath the surface, there's actually a great amount of horror/nerd inspired stuff for you waste your money on as well. Check out more prints like this awesome Freddy Krueger one, including a new "Zombie Rules" series, over at Matt Peppler's Etsy store. (click to enhance)

In a recent interview, Neve Campbell drops hints that Wes Craven may indeed be back for "Scream 4". While not official, it could be good news for this franchise reboot.

Rueben Fleischer, director of "Zombieland" reveals in a recent interview that 3D is a definite possibility for the planned sequel.

Stephen King lets slip to David Cronenburg that he has ideas percolating for a sequel to his classic "The Shining". With King however, that could still be decades away.

I unfortunately do not have the trailer for "A Nightmare on Elm St." just yet, but there are whispers that a teaser trailer will front "Zombieland" on October 2nd, a movie that most genre fans won't have to go out of their way to see. I'm just glad it's not attached to a "Saw" film.

The Elm Street trailer will debut online around the same time. Producer Brad Fuller tweeted yesterday that:

Sometimes teasers/trailers can be found on the internet before they end up in theaters.

This clip from "Zombieland" has a zombie clown in it... so that's pretty awesome.

See the upcoming premiere of Showtime's "Dexter" early in NY or LA. Lucky bastards.

Rumor has it that the "Nightmare on Elm St." trailer will be coming soon, with the possibility that it will be seen infront of prints of Columbia's "Zombieland" on October 2nd. Expect the internet version to show up just about that time.

Here's 5 clips from "Dexter" season 4, which I won't watch because I'm still making my way through season 3, which by the way has been just as kick ass as the first two so far. Highly recommended.

Today sees the announcement of "Never Sleep Again: The Elm St. Legacy", a retrospective documentary on the Nightmare series. It comes co-directed from the man who brought us "His Name Was Jason", but promises to be more in-depth and informational, which sounds good to me. I enjoyed "His Name...", but couldn't get over the fact that it felt like giving Jason Voorhees a blowjob for 90 minutes. A little more substance this time around would be a great thing.

Another purported "Cloverfield 2" viral video. The only thing that doesn't make sense to me is why someone would be so excited about moving to NYC after what happened just a few years ago (In the "Cloverfield" universe that is). The city looks to be in awfully good shape for one that was decimated by a giant crab-monster thing.

Let me just state this on the record right now... "Ring 3D" sounds like possibly the worst idea I've ever heard. Know this.
