Screen Junkies Honest Trailers - "Ghostbusters"

Ready for a laugh this morning?  Check out Screen Junkies Honest Trailer for "Ghostbusters"!

Trailers: "Adjust Your Tracking" is a Doc about VHS collectors

The best part about "Adjust Your Tracking: The Untold Story of the VHS Collector"? The whole documentary appears to have been shot on VHS itself. That's so meta my head just exploded.

As someone whose wife is constantly pissed at him for buying old VHS tapes that we have no room for, this doc was made for me. It's currently making the festival rounds, check their official site for more info.

Trailer: "World War Z" Is Still Happen? Egg On My Face.

I had pretty much lost track of “World War Z”, the big screen adaptation of Max Brooks’ 2006 zombies take over the world novel but I was 75% sure the filming site had blown up, Brad Pitt had walked off the set and the 14th director got run over by a car. Turns out I’m wrong because today there’s a trailer for the flick and much to my surprise it looks pretty sweet, despite not really showing much in the way of zombies. Let’s be honest though, 2 hours of Brad Pitt doing his taxes would look pretty sweet. The guy lights up the screen, that’s all I’m saying.

Trailers: Rob Zombies "The Lords of Salem" has a wild trailer

So this looks... like a movie. If I had to describe the first trailer for Rob Zombie's "The Lords of Salem", I'd call it "Dario Argento-Lite by way of the trailer park... plus meth". Also, and I think this needs to be asked, does this look like a film that's actually going to get released into theaters? After watching this, I'm not so sure...

Trailers: "Video Diary of a Lost Girl" is like Pee-Wee's Playhouse meets Troma

With all the generic mainstream stuff we see cross our desk every day, it's really refreshing to see an indie film with such a distinct visual style. "Video Diary of a Lost Girl" is pretty low budget, but promises to be a unique film viewing experience. Be on the lookout for a review soon and check them out on Facebook for more info.

Trailers: "Paranormal Activity 4", more scares, more product placement!

Here's the latest trailer for "Paranormal Activity 4" which gets released October 19th in the US. We get a lot more scares, more plot and some infuriating product placement for the Kinect on XBOX 360. You know, I have done a really good job not feeling bad about liking these movies, and they just might be ruining it for me. Now if you'll excuse me, I suddenly have the urge to go out and buy a system that allows me to play motion games on my XBOX...

Trailers: Park Chan-wook brings English debut to states

Famed "Old Boy" director Park Chan-Wook is set to make his English language debut with "Stoker", and the film now has a locked in release date of March 1st, 2013.

The full trailer is below, complete with a joke about how "Stoker" sounds like "Stroker". Sick burn, high school guy. Also, Nichole Kidman's creepy face...

Trailers: Former Rue Morgue editor's debut gets picked up

Rodrigo Gudino, the original Editor of Canadian horror mag Rue Morgue, finds his directorial debut being picked up by Anchor Bay Canada, for a 2013 release. I interviewed Gudino years ago and came away from it thinking he was incredibly intelligent and passionate about the genre. I can't speak to the quality of "The Last Will and Testament of Rosalind Leigh", but this teaser makes it look pretty interesting. Either way, Gudino is someone we want championing the genre.

US distribution isn't hammered out yet, but don't be surprised if it happens soon.

Teaser for Troma's "Return To the class of Nuke'Em High" will get you fired.

The most normal thing in this trailer is Ron Jeremy dressed like Jesus smoking a bong. It's almost the most "safe for work" thing about it too, consider yourself warned.

"Return to the Class of Nuke'Em High" is the latest opus from Troma's big dawg, Lloyd Kaufman. They've been using money earned from the sale of remake rights to films like "The Toxic Avenger" to fund their new movies. As far as I'm concerned as long as Lloyd is around and making true independent cinema, everything's going to be alright... Now when do I get my sequel to "Poultrygeist"??

Trailers: "Wrong Turn 5"? Alright, I'm back in...

I'm in for everything these days. Another "Resident Evil" film? Sure, why not. Some crappy movie on Netflix with two stars? What the hell, I have an hour and a half to kill. It's Halloween season and I say the more the merrier.
