Fede Alvarez, the fella who wrote and directed the "Evil Dead" remake has dropped word that if a sequel does happen it won't be with him involved. No word on if the producers will still move forward with the project but if I was a bettin man I'd say they most likely would. Cause ya know, money and stuff right?

Because it's Halloween and because it's spooky time here's a video from the folks over at Funny or Die. It's called "Are These Tales Spooky to You?". Those of you who are old might catch on the resemblance to the old "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" show that was on Nickelodeon. Those of you who are old and didn't get laid in high school might remember the host of the video as Marilyn Manson, of music old ladies used to protest fame. Enjoy.

While I was on my crazy leave it was announced by Michael Dougherty that "Trick R Treat 2" was in fact moving forward. No other details were really given but now it looks like that Michael has let out that we'll for sure see some witches in this next installment, we'll get just a touch of Sam's back story and there will most likely be a third film to complete the trilogy. He also said that I'm his muse and that he thinks I've lost weight and that I look perfect. That part didn't make it into the interview but I'm sure it was said.

According to Ridley Scott he's already got "Prometheus 2" and "Prometheus 3" written and ready to go. He plans on them seeing the light of day in 2014 and 2015, respectively. He's also apparently completed his taxes for the next 5 years and is actively working on that model ship that's been sitting in your closet for three years.

John 5 is one of those rare talents on guitar who manages to stand tall, outside the shadow of the hugely popular frontman of whatever band he's playing in. Much the same as Dave Navarro shines equally to Perry Farrell, Zakk Wylde was equal to Ozzy and Slash overcame the overbearing Axl Rose, John 5 has done the same in both Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie. Disarmingly polite and soft-spoken in person, we sat down with John 5 to find out what makes him tick, what music he loves, and naturally, to talk about the new Rob Zombie record.

Apps are all the rage with the kids these days. Why just yesterday I was down at the malt shop and there was a group of kids just going gaga over some apps. So why wouldn't the people behind "Wrong Turn 4: Bloody Beginnings" make an app to promote their movie which hits DVD on October 25th? There's no reason! Of course their app is a cookbook that's chock full of all kinds of helpful recipes. I don't see a reason for that either but man... apps, huh!

I don't care if she dated Marilyn Manson I still have a crush on Rose McGowan. I can't just throw away the special times we had with "Jawbreaker" like they didn't matter. So I'm willing to give "Rosewood Lane" a chance. The film is a new thriller which stars McGowen as a radio show host who moves back to her hometown after the death of her father and finds her paperboy is a nut job. You really don't see enough killer paperboy flicks anymore.

We were all giddy about "Tucker and Dale vs Evil" here at BGH so the news that co-writer Morgan Jurgenson has penned the script for a new movie titled "Hyperdrive" where a cop saves a sci-fi nerd who turns out to be the key witness in a murder. Not giddy like pee our pants giddy but still pretty excited. The word "semi" was used in a few descriptions. I'm going to let your mind tell the rest of that story.

Remember that song "Them bones" by Alice In Chains? Man that was a good song. That song has nothing to do with the new trailer for the new AMC 2 night mini-series "Bag Of Bones". I just really like that song. The show is based on the Stephen King novel of the same name and tells the story of a man haunted by the memory of his deceased wife during a bitter custody battle. It's a 4 hour series so they might play the song at some point. Keep your fingers crosses.
