Bill Murray continues to stir up "Ghostbusters III" talk. During his appearance on last night;s "Late Show With David Letterman", he confirms that he will be killed off early in the script and states that he doubts the film will ever be made.

Everyone's favorite ginger snap Katherine Isabelle is returning in "Hard Ride To Hell", a story about a group of campers who find themselves in danger after witnessing a blood sacrifice. The film will debut on Spike TV before the DVD hits on May 18th.

Area23A, an event based distribution company, has picked up the rights to "Best Worst Movie". If you've been dying to lay eyes on this documentary centered on the 'classic' "Troll 2", your dreams are about to come true as the company plans a theatrical release.

Keep your eyes on your local art house theater; the recent midnight screenings of "Evil Dead" have been doing so well that Grindhouse Releasing has struck a new 35mm print of the film. With showings selling out, the company plans on keeping the film going for quite awhile. Stay tuned to the Grindhouse Releasing website to see if they add a city near you.

I recieved a link to this show last week, and in light of Tor's recent review of the documentary "American Scary", I thought it was the perfect time to bring it up. What you have here is a fan-produced series "B-Rated". Essentially you have a corny horror host, and then a psuedo-intellectual reviewer who takes apart truly awful movies and gives them more thought than they deserve. It's all pretty entertaining, and dare I say, shockingly well produced for something put together by fans.

Back when I interviewed Michael Paul Stephenson about his documentary "Best Worst Movie", he mentioned something in passing that at the time didn't really click with me. Here's what he said about director Claudio Fragasso, and his plans for a "Troll 2" sequel:

The story of "Best Worst Movie" starts in the summer of 1989, in a small Utah town where a little independent horror film was being shot that would eventually go on to be known as "Troll 2". Directed by Italian filmmaker Claudio Fragasso and written by his wife Rossella Drudi, "Troll 2" has gone on in many circles to be considered the "worst movie ever made". It was a legend that the film built during many late night showings on HBO in the mid 1990's, and one solidified in the internet age, when it was voted "worst movie ever made" by the users of IMDB.com.
