jennifer's body

After a little unscheduled break, the Box Office Special is back. And after a messy streak of flops, horror looks to be back too, with "Zombieland" flying out of the gates with a number one finish in its opening weekend. Let's catch up with a handy little chart:

This week we give Jennifer's body a once over, and decide if she's worth your time.

To me “Jennifer’s Body” pretty much has one thing going for it, it’s got Megan Fox running around in skimpy outfits. Alright two, that Amanda Seyfried isn’t too shabby either.

In case you weren't already hot and bothered by all of the promotion surrounding the upcoming Megan Fox vehicle "Jennifer's Body," behold the Spanish version of the film's theatrical poster.

Anne Rice loves to write about Lestat as if he's a real life person... oh, and she would also love it if Robert Downey Jr. signed onto the role. Both of those are things I learned from a recent posting to her website regarding the casting rumors that came out late last week.

Overture films is pushing their sci-fi film "Pandorum" ahead a week to make way for "Jennifer's Body". This puts the film at a September 25th release date, up against (for now) the remake of "The Crazies".

Myspace has the first official clip from "The Final Destination". Ya, this is going to be terrible, and probably a little awesome too, but mostly terrible.

Legendary horror writer Shirley Jackson's "We Have Always Lived in this Castle" has been picked up for an adaptation by Michael Douglas' production company.

You can’t have a film with just a trailer these days. Nope you need all kinds of viral shit that will get splatter all over the youtubes and your facebooks so that you live in constant fear that everything you read is actually just some clever advertisement for the next Harrison Ford film.

I'm not going to lie, I thought the trailer for "Jennifer's Body" looked terrible... but count me among the many out there who will pretty much watch anything that Megan Fox is in, so needless to say I love this poster. Release date, September 12th, 2009.

Much buzz and speculation has been floating around the Megan Fox starring horror thriller "Jennifer's Body". Written by hipster allstar and "Juno" scribe Diablo Cody, no one has been sure what to make of her penning an original horror flick.
