Creepy Presents Bernie Wrightson
Artist: Bernie Wrightson
Writers: Bernie Wrightson, various
Publisher: Dark Horse Books

Any horror fan worth a damn has seen Bernie Wrightson’s work. Wrightson is perhaps best known for co-creating Swamp Thing, but even if you’re not a comic book reader, you’ve likely come across his illustrations in Stephen King’s “Cycle of the Werewolf”, “The Wolves of Calla”, and in the restored edition of “The Stand”. Wrightson’s meticulous and loving illustrated edition of “Frankenstein” is a must-have for any follower of the genre.

Alright maybe it wasn't his actual ghost, but I can imagine it still freaked the hell out of some people who were stoned out of their minds when a pretty believable hologram of 2Pac came out on stage this past weekend at Coachella and addressed the crowd, did a few songs and interacted with Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre.. I don't know how much something like this costs but feel free to send us money so we can get one for the BGH office. My productivity will go through the roof if I can get 2Pac standing behind me complimenting me on the News. Just saying.

There's more to horror than just movies. Another ever-growing segment of genre offerings is the world of comics. Mix some top notch story telling with spectacular artwork and you have yourself a good old fashioned scary tale.
