Horror Headlines: Tuesday February 23rd, 2010

John Landis has hit the director chair again, this time directing Andy Serkis and Simon Pegg in a new horror comedy entitled "Burke & Hare". With talent like that involved, how can you not be curious?

Remember Melissa Joan Hart? She's coming to the big screen for a taste of genre stardom, though not in the form of a cutesy witch. Instead, she'll be starring in the gruesome thriller "Nine Dead" alongside John Terry and John C. Victor.

There are rumblings about that anime fans favorite dhampir 'D' may be returning soon. Director Hideyuki Kikuchi has announced plans to bring "Vampire Hunter D" back once in again in both series form as well as a live action movie.

In what is sure to be only the tip of the marketing iceberg, some snapshots of "A Nightmare on Elm Street" have arrived online as well as a new one sheet giving us another look at the new Freddy.
