"The 4th Reich" Heading Towards Production

In a time when our real life villains seem amorphous, impersonal, and complicated, many directors are turning to the Nazis as go-to, easily readable manifestations of evil. Even the horror genre is turning to Nazis as a trend villain, specifically Nazi Zombies. While this year's "Dead Snow" put the Nazi Zombies in the present day and played it for laughs, "The Fourth Reich", which enters production later this year, looks like a more straight ahead horror piece and is set in war-torn Europe during WWII. Here's the synopsis:

Final "Wolfenstein" Trailer

The sun is always going to rise and people are always going to love killing Nazis. It’s a fact, you can look it up. Because of this constant we now have another "Wolfenstein" game coming out tomorrow. In celebration Activision has taken the time to push out one more trailer before the game finally hits shelves that you can view below. The game looks to be chock full of everything we’ve grown to expect from a "Wolfenstein" title. Big guns, creepy undead Nazis and tons of explosions. Should be a good time!

Behind The Scenes Clip From “Wolfenstein”

It’s been months since I’ve turned on my Xbox 360 but from the looks of the newly released behind the scenes clip from “Wolfenstein” I think I might be picking up the controller again. Activision gives a pretty good overview of the game and how it’s evolved, and most importantly explains to fans how they’ve tried to stay true to the original games. “Wolfenstein” comes out for the Xbox 360, PC, and Playstation 3 on August 4th.

US Trailer For "Dead Snow"

“Ein, Zwei, Die!” It’s a pretty awesome tag line even if it is a bit confusing. Wouldn’t that translate into “one, two, the”? Anyway I haven't taken German class in close to fifteen years so I’m going to ignore that. One thing I am not confused about is that “Dead Snow” looks awesome and after watching the US trailer below you’ll have no choice but to agree with me.

Peter Jackson Takes on Nazi Zombies?

It's Friday afternoon and I'm bored, so it's half-baked story time! Nazi Zombies are experiencing a rennisaince right now. There's something about taking the innocence of zombies and combining it with the pure, unadulterated evil of the nazi regime that has everyone's panties in a bind recently. Well, it's gone all the way up the ladder and it looks like Peter Jackson may be taking some on, in his long awaited return to the gory horror he was a pioneer of back in the day.
