The original Bioshock game was applauded for sticking to its strengths as a heavily story based single player game. Even though 2K plans to stick with those strengths with Bioshock 2, it will feature extensive multiplayer gameplay. Thanks to Kotaku, there are now some vague, yet intriguing details.
Just over a week ago I posted the first "Bioshock 2" game footage, and wondered aloud what sort of teases would come next. As it turns out, "tease" is not in Gamespot's vocabulary, as they've posted a video which at first look answers nearly every basic question that fans of the franchise have so far. Be warned, this video is slightly spoilery in terms of general story and gameplay, but definitely worth a look:
Before there was Call of Duty or Medal of Honor there was Castle Wolfenstein. The 1981 game that I spent hours playing on the Commodore 64 bares little resemblance to any of today's first person shooters but it did pave the way for the 1992 hit Wolfenstein 3-D. This game changed my life. Probably not for the better, since I spent most of that summer sitting in front of a computer killing Nazi’s and eating microwave corn dogs.
2 weeks ago I posted about my love of all things "Killzone", the Playstation exclusive first-person-shooter series. Today I saw this very cool video pop up on MSNBC, where they're essentially interviewing one of the "Killzone 2" developers during online matchplay. In other words, the developer answers questions whilst putting caps in Helghast asses.
