"Dead Space 2" Developers Share Their Horror Influences (VIDEO)

"Dead Space" was just about the scariest gaming experience experience of the past five years. When I completed the game, it left me with the same awestruck feeling that a great horror movie would. As it turns out, this is no coincidence. As anticipation for "Dead Space 2" builds, the dev team sat down with Game Informer to share some of their most prominent horror influences, which are actually quite diverse.

If you haven't played "Dead Space" already, you owe it to yourself to play through it at least once before the sequel is released. You won't find a more complete horror gaming experience anywhere, and after hearing of the team's influences, you'll surely be able to pick out some obvious and not so obvious nods throughout. Just remember to wear a diaper.
