Think Your Boss Sucks? New "Bloodsucking Bastards" Trailer Begs to Differ

If you’ve ever wondered what Office Space would be like if Bill Lumbergh was a vampire, it looks like you’re about to get your answer in the new horror comedy Bloodsucking Bastards. The film’s fun debut trailer pits a group of white collar workers (led by Fran Kranz of Cabin in the Woods fame) against their new boss (Game of Thrones’ Pedro Pascal) who, as it so happens, is a vampire – and a busy one at that. In order to get to him, it seems our heroes will have to fight their way through a hoard of their co-workers who’ve all been transformed into bloodsuckers.

Along with the clear Office Space vibes coming from Bloodsucking Bastards via its setting and air of corporate disillusionment, it’s hard not to also get hit with some Shaun of the Dead flashbacks as well. The gang, which, in addition to Kranz’s Evan, includes his ex-girlfriend Amanda (Emma Fitzpatrick) and his best friend Tim (the delightful Joey Kern) – hack and slash their way through the vampiric masses in ridiculously bloody fashion, only pausing to drop the occasional, well-placed one-liner.

Bloodsucking Bastards will be hitting select theaters and OnDemand on Sept. 4.
