The Bloody Good Horror Redesign is Live!

It's time to play the music! It's time to light the lights! It's time to...pass out in the corner and not look at a computer screen for a few months.

Developer malaise aside, I'm stoked to finally say that the Blood Good Horror revamp/remake/redesign is live! Here are a few things that you should be looking for right away.

  • Our Reviews page has been completely redone, allowing you to sort by the type of movie you want and the aspect of it you're most interested in (Humor, Violence, etc.)
  • When you're reading a review, you'll now see recommended reviews on the bottom. Those are our reviews, categorized by the same categories you're using to sort on the reviews page.
  • You can actually find BGH Classic Episodes and Classic Packs! Whether you're coming from the main menu or Podcast.BloodyGoodHorror.Com, you'll be able to catch up on all of the things that you've missed.
  • Metal! All of our Metal/Music content by our Music Editor DM and crew now has it's own place on the website. You can expect the same album reviews, concert reviews, and interviews that you always have, but now you can find them all at once!

Here are some things to look forward to:

  • More mobile enhancements - The site functions pretty damn well on mobile but there are improvements in the works.
  • More reviews - We're moving toward a slightly tweaked style of reviews in order to fill out our reviews data base to give you even better recommendations.
  • More...in general. The upgrade will enable us to respond to feedback faster and make meaningful updates far more often than every year or five.

And that's it for now! If you have any questions/suggestions/feedback, send us a note through our Contact Form or email us at info[at]bloodygoodhorror.com. Thanks for your continued support, and we all can't wait to see where this brand new experience takes us!

Mark is the pretty much everything of Bloody Good Horror. When he's not casting spells in Magic or Hearthstone, you'll probably find him watching wrestling, beard glistening from the essence of Chicago's myriad beers and meats.
