SNL Roundup 10/6

Since I usually spend every Monday pimping out Saturday Night Live as it is, I figured I would start posting some of the best clips from SNL on Mondays for you guys who don't take the time out to watch the show. This season has been especially interesting, as you have two great new talents in Bobby Moynihan and Casey Wilson, a super preggo Amy Poehler, Tina Fey as the human caricature that is Sarah Palin, and Kristen Wiig as the funniest chick on the planet.

Since NBC understands the internet about as well as John McCain does, I'm not really able to embed the files in this post. So here are some direct links from this week's best sketches. So, here we go!

Anne Hathaway was the guest host this week, and this was the first skit. I have two thoughts. Anne Hathaway is all kinds of dreamy, and Kristen Wiig is normally pretty cute, except for here. I'll be having nightmares about tiny doll arms tonight, thank you very much.

Watch "The Lawrence Welk Show"

The following was the best from this episode bar none. It's telling that all of the best sketches this season have been towards the end of the shows... perhaps it's time for Lorne Michaels to call it quits? Either way, tell your mother I said hi.

Watch "Mark Wahlberg talks to animals"

And finally, there were some other decent moments but this is the last one I'll post this week. Watch the SNL spoof of the VP Debate.

Watch "VP Debate Open" here... and remember, Joe Biden says you can suck it.

That's it till next week folks. See you then!
