AMC Fearfest is in full swing and we are currently in the middle of the '4 Days of Halloween' marathon which is featuring the 1978 original "Halloween" movie and a big chunk of its sequels. Tonight AMC will be premiering "Halloween: H20" in which Jamie Lee Curtis reprises her role as Laurie Strode. The film is interesting in the sense that the storyline ignores movies 3 - 6 in the series and is considered a direct sequel to Halloween and Halloween 2. This time, it's 20 years later and Laurie has faked her own death to escape her psychotic brother. She's the dean of a boarding school in which her son (Josh Hartnett) also attends and it's Halloween once again. The Halloween series is easily my favorite franchise of the big 3 in the horror industry, so I'm pretty forgiving of it's sequels (even Halloween 3!) but this one is probably closer to the bottom of my list. My favorite: "Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers." Take a gander at the trailer below and be sure to check out AMC this week for your favorite Halloween movie.
