I'm turning twenty-five at the end of the month. Despite the fact that I know I'm relatively still a young guy (especially compared to Joe, ba-zing!), I'm kinda freaking out about it. As a result, when I was looking through Netflix's streaming offerings to find something to write about and stumbled across this movie, I knew exactly what I had to do; watch "Killer Klowns from Outer Space" as soon as possible.
I don't know how I first came across this film, but this is an absolute staple of my childhood. When I think back about childhood favorites, it's pretty much this, "The Blob", "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" and "Empire Strikes Back". I know, it explains a lot about my taste in movies.
As a result, "Killer Klowns from Outer Space" is one of those movies I can throw on and feel like a kid again. And, all nostalgia aside, it's still a pretty entertaining, enjoyable little flick. Where else can you watch some giant clown aliens land in a circus tent shaped UFO, kill a man, stuff his body into some cotton candy and then drink his blood with a crazy straw?
So BGH faithful, what are you watching this weekend?
