Iron Chef Joins "Bitter Feast"

Are you a Food Network fan? In particular, a fan of Iron Chef America and their roly poly chef Mario Batali? Ever wonder how he'd translate to the silver screen in a full fledged movie?

Yah, neither have I, but it was announced today that Mario Batali will be joinging the cast of "Bitter Feast"!

Starring alongside James LeGros, "Bitter Feast" is a thriller based on the competitive world of New York Chefs and TV Personalities. LeGros plays a big time on-air chef with a chip on his shoulder. When a local food critic lambastes his high end eatery, LeGros decides to take culinary revenge on the man. Mario Batali will be lending his foodie cred as the owner of the high end restaurant that LeGros runs.

"Bitter Feast" is shooting now in Manhattan and Woodstock, NY and is slated for a fall release from Magnolia Pictures.
