I suffer from Earworms

And now you can too!

Earworm = "is a term for a portion of a song or other musical material that becomes "stuck" in a person's "head" or repeats against one's will within one's mind."

This is a affliction I suffer constantly, some would say 'faithfully'. As a matter of fact, it's become a game between me and a friend to see who can get the song stuck in each other's head at the beginning of the day (P, I'll be linking you to this pronto) It could be any song with a driving beat, heavy baseline, or even just a catchy melody and I'll be humming along to it all day. In recent weeks it's been Katy Perry's "I kissed a girl", and the always ALWAYS effective "Just Dropped In (To See What Condition My Condition Was In) by Kenny Rogers, one you'll all recognize from Kenny Rogers.

So, today I'm tired of it and I'm going to share my pain. If you follow me on twitter, you know that this weekend I had to attend a family wedding filled with bloody mary's and dancing. Thanks to that wedding DJ, I've now had Journey's "Faithfully" stuck on infinite repeat since Saturday.

Shoot me now.

If I get nothing but comments of 'fucker' and 'I fucking hate you', I'll know my job was well done!
