Festival Hit “Treevenge” Now Available Online

Jason Eisener’s “Treevenge” has been getting some serious attention since it showed up on the scene back in 08. Along the way it’s picked up awards at the New York City Horror Film Fest, Toronto After Dark Festival, San Francisco Independent Film Festival and a bunch of other well known festivals. Well now “Treevenge” is available online for all to enjoy. This 16 minute film shows what happens when your Christmas trees get fed up and decides to fight back. It’s Christmas in July people!

Treevenge details the experiences and horrifying reality of the lives of Christmas trees. Clearly, for trees, Christmas isn’t the exciting “peace on earth” that is experienced by most. After being hacked down, and shipped away from their homes, they quickly become strung up, screwed into an upright position for all to see, exposed in a humiliation of garish decorations. But this Christmas will be different, this Christmas the trees have had enough, this Christmas the trees will fight back. Treevenge could be a short film about the end of days for Christmas trees, or perhaps, the end of humanity?

You might recognize Eisener’s name from the fake trailer to the film “Hobo With a Shotgun” that was popping around the nets a few years back. “Treevenge” is his follow up and from the looks of things this guy has got some serious sick crap going on upstairs. I don’t want to give anything away but if the baby throwing scene in “Feast 2” freaked you out you might want to avoid this one all together.

Just a note that things get pretty bloody so “Treevenge” might not be safe for work.

Drinking beer I enjoy for good time and make relaxation for everyone. Disney World is my land favorite time for me. Horror movies? Yes. That’s me for a nutshell.
