"Child's Play" Coming to Blu-Ray
Announced today was the news of more horror classics being rolled out to the Blu-ray format! The latest? "Child's Play"!
Slated for a September 15th release, the disk will be in full 1080p resolution and packed with extras.
Said extras include:
-Second commentary with Producer David Kirschner and Screenwriter Don Mancini
-Select Scene Chucky Commentaries
-"The Advantages of Being Chucky"
-"Chucky on Filmmaking"
-"Up Close and Personal with Chucky"
-"Evil Comes in Small Packages"
-"The Birth of Chucky"
-"Creating the Horror"
-"Unleashed - Chucky: Building a Nightmare"
-"A Monster Convention"
-"Introducing Chucky: The Making of Child's Play"
-"Chucky’s Back Bitches"
-"Designer Toy"
-"Evil Comes in Little Packages"
-a copy of the standard-def DVD
I've seen many film companies promise a Blu-ray disk 'packed' with extras. This may be the first time I've actually seen them follow through on it! With a total of 12 Featurettes and 3 separate commentaries, any hardcore "Child's Play" fan should be in heaven. The warm fuzzy kind, not the kind that the little plastic dolls sends his victims to.
