'Crash Course' DLC for L4D is Only Free for Some

Presumably to muffle the cries of their colicky fanbase over the abrupt announcement and impending release of "Left 4 Dead 2", Valve will be releasing a new campaign for the original game in September. However, unlike the last pack of DLC that included new multiplayer maps and an entirely new online mode, XBOX360 users are going to have to pony up the dough for the new "Crash Course" campaign.

Does the "Left 4 Dead 2" Boycott Matter?

For days, I've been reading various posts about the apparent 'boycott' of "Left 4 Dead 2," the recently announced sequel to Valve's popular zombie blasting FPS. Although I was positive about the news, throngs of angry fans voiced their opinions to the contrary. Primarily, they were angry about the fact that Valve had promised to continually provide additional content for the original "Left 4 Dead," something that they are known for as a publisher.

Left 4 Dead 2 Announced

This week is the kick off of E3, the mecca of the video game industry. Microsoft kicked off the event with their press conference filled with their new game announcements. The biggest for horror fans is the announcement of Left 4 Dead 2 due Nov. 17th 2009, and the new full trailer, which you can check out below.
