The 2019 Buried Alive Film Festival is kicking off November 13th and runs through the 17th. With a new location at the 7 Stages Theatre in Little 5 Points the festival is within walking distance of coffee houses and bars (shops too!).
BAFF is not strictly horror – accepting films from within the breadth of what the genre can offer, local and visiting filmmakers can really cut their teeth on am engrossed audience. Attendees can certainly find something to suit their tastes with a packed, block schedule over the weekend. A crowd favorite, the annual Sinema Challenge is back for the 4th time, and is a fun mashup where Atlanta filmmakers have 13 days to produce film inspired by a randomly picked horror genre and a subject card from Cards Against Humanity. Closing ceremonies with awards are on Sunday November 17th at 8p with screenings of all the winners.
