12 Days of Cryptmas: "You've got Dead on You - The Annoucer's Christmas Special"

In a world gone mad, there are two men, nay heroes, who have decided to face the zombie apocalypse with zest, heroism, cowardice and one-liners. Join them as they navigate through a zombie world in, “You’ve Got Dead On You”.

Good comedies are hard to find nowadays. Good comedies about zombies are even harder to find. So you can imagine my delight when I discovered "You've Got Dead On You" and listening to it has earned me more than a few strange looks when I giggle to myself in the office.

The first thing you should know is this isn’t a “typical” horror podcast – it’s not a bunch of people discussing their opinions on latest horror offerings. If I had to describe it, it’s in the style of shows from the golden age of radio, complete with an Announcer – it’s a comedic story of two average guys stuck in the beginnings of a zombie apocalypse. I knew I was in for a great time when a few minutes into episode one, they were congratulating themselves on the irony of bludgeoning their zombie neighbor’s head in with a copy of “Pride, Prejudice & Zombies”.

These guys do a great job of keeping the story going, and the laughs coming. They're also vary involved with their fan base...sometimes, too involved, as the Announcer now lives at my house (it's a long story).

Each episode with Announcer commentary runs about 10-15 minutes, and you won't be disappointed. So head on over and start with episode one - HEY HEY HEY GET BACK HERE! I'm not done yet!!!

Since this IS the season of giving, they've also put together a very funny Christmas Special; a heartwarming tale of the Announcer trying to find the perfect gift to warm Craig's black little heart. At only .99 cents, even the biggest tightwad can download a copy, and even the biggest douche will be touched that the proceeds go to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) . Over a half hour of Christmas goodness and you do something good. This may be what you need to push you off Santa's Naughty List!
