Christopher Lloyd has signed on to play an occult shop owner in the upcoming 3D Canadian indie horror flick "Dead Before Dawn". April Mullen, who looks like she smells like sunshine, is the director behind the project that currently filming in Niagara Fall, Ontario. Because no one does anyone on the U.S. side of Niagara Falls. It's the one and only thing Canada has on us.

Sue Rock, who according to IMDB I have seen in a few movies before, is the latest name to be added to the ever growing "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D" cast list. She'll play someone I'm guessing gets killed within the first 20 minutes so I'm not really going to bother explaining the role. In short the only reason I'm mentioning this is when I first read about this I thought the headline said "The Rock" was joining the cast. Which got me really excited and I was already typing the post up.

Yesterday the internet was all ablaze with the exciting news that "Evil Dead 4" was slowly rolling into production. And now to stoke the fire in your loins just a little more the mighty Bruce Campbell has commented on the status. According the him that project is very much real, very much scary and very much a remake. Oh boy... remake. I want to believe every word Bruce Campbell says so I'm keeping the faith here. Please don't hurt me, Bruce. I'm not sure my tender heart could take that.

I'm not 100% convinced that Bill Moseley didn't fight in the civil war and for that reason I am not convinced that the new horror flick "Exit Humanity" isn't a documentary. Of course I don't believe I remember anything about zombies being a large problem in the post civil war era but to be honestl I wasn't very good in social studies. In any case there's a new trailer for the flick so you can make your own conclusions.

Alexandra Daddario has been in a bunch of movies I've never seen and has devil eyes. That's a fact. And now she's been cast as the female lead in the next chapter in the book of Leatherface currently titled "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D". Set to be released next year on October 5th. Teen heartthrob Bill Moseley has already been confirmed for the flick and I assume having his hot ass on the cast list is what sealed the deal for Daddario. I smell an on-set romance in the works.

Speaking of the Mose-one (I don't know what that means either) it looks like Bill Moseley, Leslie Easterbrook and Ashley Laurence have all be confirmed for a new thrilled titled "Deception". The film follows the son and daughter who begin to be terrorized by a killer 20 years after their parents were mysteriously murdered. Ruben Rodriguez, who you probably know from his "Miscellaneous Crew" credit on "The Hustler's Last Score" is set to direct.

A couple shots from the set of "Prometheus", the upcoming "Alien" prequel movie, have hit the tubes and they're chalk full of H.R. Gieger goodness. And by that I of course mean it looks like the posters on the wall of a D&D addicts wall in his parent's trailer circa 1987. Fun fact here, every time I've read the name "Gieger" lately I've mistaken it for "Ginger" and I've been really confused about why the new "Alien" movie focuses on pasty red headed kids.

The long discussed remake of Chan-wook Park's "Oldboy" had looked to be all but dead but it looks like things might be moving forward after all and none other than Spike Lee might be taking the director's chair. Fan boys of the original will throw a fit I'm sure but keep in mind that Spike Lee directed "Summer of Sam" and a bunch of other awesome movies and he's from America therefore his version will not be anti-freedom like the original. That's Social Studies 101 folks. Read a book.

Hey do you like sexy ladies doing sexy dances? Sure, we all do! Well here's a new clip from "Mother's Day" which not only has that but also some creepy looking guys enjoying the show said sexy girl played by Briana Evigan is putting on. "Mother's Day" has no specific release date but should see the light of day sometime before the end of the summer. You should have read this entire post in the voice of Sally Struthers.

If there's one thing that "Repo! The Genetic Opera" taught us it's that not even Bill Moseley can save a crappy movie. But none the less he's been cast in the upcoming film "Leatherface 3D" in the role of Drayton, a nod to the role Jim Siedow played in the first two Texas Chainsaw films. So maybe old Billy boy can make this one magical. Maybe the next "2001 Maniacs" will win an Oscar, too.

I've never hid the fact that I believe Dennis Quaid is a cold blooded killer in real life. So I like to think the new movie "Beneath the Darkness" is something of a cry for help from the people in Hollywood who know the truth. In the movie Quaid plays a local hero who is actually turns out to be a psychopathic killer. This might be a documentary.

And lastly here's a new trailer for "Cowboys & Aliens" which hits theaters on July 29th. The trailer is chock full of, you guessed it, aliens and cowboys. Not necessarily in that order. But there's also about a half second shot of what looks to be a nude Olivia Wilde. Or it might of been Giada De Laurentiis from The Food Network. I always get those two mixed up.

Taryn Manning and Gillian Zinser have been added to the cast of "Manson Girls" which follows the story of the women who fell under Charles Manson's spell. Bill Moseley has already been cast as Manson which seems like a good choice because I'm 99% sure that guy is capable of murder.

"Detention" is a new slasher/comedy flick premiering at SXSW and today folks we've got a new post for the romp. The film focuses on a girl who is sent to, you guessed it, detention and must survive the attacks of a killer and make it to prom. Sounds just like my senior year of High School! Minus the killer part... and getting to go to prom.

"Humans vs Zombies" is pretty much the premise of every zombie flick but no one's ever used the title so why the hell not. The movie is about a group of students fighting to survive on a college campus that's been overrun by, you guessed it, zombies. Apparently this is also a real game kids play on college campuses, which sounds like an awesome way to spend your time in a place where booze is readily available and women are loose. America is doomed.

How the hell did this take so long to happen? A trailer for the soon to be released "Scream XXX: A Porn Parody" has hit the net and I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that even if they cut out all the sex this is still going to be better than the new "Scream" movie. Just so I'm clear though I don't want to see a version of this without the sex, that would just be stupid.
