Oliver Stone wrote and directed 1981's "The Hand," a movie that scared the beejeezus out of me as a kid. "The Hand" is about, unsurprisingly, a hand. It is also a remake of a 1946 movie, "The Beast With Five Fingers," and is based on Marc Brandell's novel, A Lizard's Tail. Michael Caine stars as Jonathan Lansdale, a comic strip artist who loses his hand in an accident. The severed hand begins to stalk Jonathan and kill the people around him.
