Steve Guttenberg? In a horror flick? The star of "Short Circuit" and "Police Academy" is set to appear in Daniel Maze's upcoming direct-to-video slasher flick "Cornered!" The trailer is fairly amusing, but then again, when was the last time Steve Guttenberg delivered the goods? Anyone? That's what I thought.

Do you wanna know what I'm most excited about? Well, I'll tell you, anyway. Magnolia is set to distribute "The Descent" director Neil Marshall's bloody swordplay epic "Centurion", with a limited theatrical release tentatively scheduled for this summer. If this thing doesn't show up in my neck of the woods, I swear I'll cry.

If you thought the 2008 "Death Race" was a one shot deal, you were wrong! Universal Home Video has announced the direct to video sequel "Death Race: Frankenstein Lives" starring Luke Goss in drivers seat. Joining him will be the likes of Ving Rhames, Danny Trejo and Sean Bean, which makes you wonder which part of the track their careers crashed in.

"Taxi Driver" appears to be the next film slated for a modern remake but could there be actual hope for this one? Rumors were confirmed that Martin Scorecese, Lars Von-Trier and Robert DeNiro are all involved, with a strong chance of DeNiro reprising his Travis Bickle role.

Just off of the news of Neil Marshall's next epic "Centurion", the director has spoken of his plans to step into the producers chair for Ian D Fleming's "Ghosts of Slaughterford".

Ever read the synonymous trio of books written by Dean Koontz? Neither have I, but they are now slated for the feature film treatment.

More pics from Rob Zombie's "Halloween 2". I only post them because the director's cut of "Halloween" is our topic for discussion next week on the podcast, so I have to subject myself to it this weekend. I'm currently devising ways to try and stop the pain while it's playing. Suggestions welcome.

Neil Marshall is reportedly in talks to direct the "Predators" sequel for Robert Rodriguez. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go find my head because it just blew straight off my fucking shoulders.
