Conspiracy theories are awesome. There's just something about listening to hillbillies talking about aliens shoving shit up their asses that I find hilarious and will never get tired of hearing. The only thing better than listening to hillbillies rant and rave about aliens, the Men in Black (not the Will Smith kind) and far-reaching government conspiracies is listening to a formerly respectable, former A-lister (maybe that's a stretch) simultaneously nuke his career and do all the above.
Yup, "Dan Aykroyd Unplugged on UFOs" is really about what it sounds like. Watch as Dan Aykroyd nervously smokes in a dingy trailer while talking about Britney Spears, hosting "Saturday Night Live" and the Men in Black. Listen as Dan Aykroyd details a government conspiracy revolving around shutting down the production of his own Syfy channel series on conspiracy theories. And finally, revel in watching the future star of "Ghostbusters III" implodes in a paranoid meltdown of Gary Busey proportions.
Yes, I know this isn't a horror film per se, however, the overlap in audiences is pretty strong. Trust me, this one's worth the hour and a half. You'll never be able to watch "Blues Brothers" the same way again.
