As one of the top horror themed TV shows on the air today, Dexter Season 2 is as big as it gets this week! A top notch show, if you haven't sunk your teeth into "Dexter" yet, it's time you do. Consider it imperative! In fact, I'd say it's a must! It's a good thing we're two free copies! You have until Friday to sign up, so get to it!

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles debuted last season on Fox and now it's ready to make it's appearance on your DVD player! "Chronicles" tells the story of a young John Connor in-between the second movie and the forgotten third. With killer bots, killer bods and a new franchise flick in the works, this is a good addition to the family. Summer Glau and Lena Heady are a nice addition too!

We vowed to never utter the name again, so today be sure to look for the unrated version of Shrom Shnight, other wise known as that crappy remake that almost made Eric & Jon break up in Episode 23. We advised you to stay away in the theater, we'll repeat ourselves for the DVD.

A trio of female reporters find themselves holed up in an old house occupied by a violent ghost in 1981's The Unseen. Three ladies in a house in an 80's horror flick? I bet there's boobies!

It's been talked about for a year or two now; finally we get our hands on Crispin Glover's take on The Wizard of Gore! Whether it's good or not I can't say, but this is one of the most anticipated remakes of the last two years. Let's hope for the best!.

The Sarah Connor Chronicles

The Sarah Connor Chronicles was awful!!
I was looking forward to this series and was horrified by it from the first episode. I just never bought the new actress as Sarah Connor and Summer Glau really wasnt the most convincing Terminator, although they used her for about 90% of the shows teenage angst jokes. And the CGI was terrible.

I quite enjoyed it myself. After the pile that was Terminator 3 though, it's easy for judgment to be clouded!

I dunno, I bought into Lena Heady being Sarah Connor. That said, it did have it's issues where they didn't do anything and it didn't really start to pick up until the end of the 1st season. I'm looking forward to a second season myself.

Shrom Shnight

I know it's supposed to be awful, and I imagine it will be, but I just have to see for myself. May God have mercy on my soul.

Proms and Wizards...

If you do see it Bo, be sure to report back on the gore quotient. I have to admit that I'm really interested to see if they added in violence. There is literally about 3 drops of blood in the theatrical version and no onscreen violence... also, keep an eye out for half of the black girls' nipple... while her and her boyfriend are on the bed. Let us know if you get to see a fully in the unrated version!

And I remember interviewing Jeremy Kasten (director of Wizard of Gore) back in 2003 about "The Attic Expeditions", and he was already in pre-production on WOG, so this has been around for a lot longer than two years. The interview is in the archives somewhere but I'm too lazy to dig it up. Definitely fascinated to see this though.

Holy Crap-!!!!!

Did anyone else think that was a picture of Bruce Cambell!?!??!?!? I had no idea that was Crispin Glover, he looks just like a young Bruce in that shot. Walks away scratching his head.

Aim for the head-!!

Shrom Shnight Revisited

So, I saw it, I posted the review for those interested, but the so-called Unrated Edition had nothing I don't think I could have seen in a PG-13 film. In the theatrical cut, was there the wide swing and splatters of blood on the wall/plastic? That's as graphic as it got. In the genre of pointless remakes, this may be the gold standard. I feel unclean.
