The DVD Bargain Bin

Supposedly based on a true story, The Haunting in Connecticut tells the story of a family and their encounter with the supernatural. Starring Virginia Madsen, the film was mediocre in the the theater, so the studio is hoping that offering an unrated cut will help stir up some excitement.

The 1991 Fulci spook flick The Door Into Silence is the cult director's take at supernatural scares. John Savage has a series of encounters with a mysterious young woman, an otherwordly hearse, ghosts and more. All seemingly kicked off by the death of Savage's father in Louisiana.

A serial killer thriller starring Dennis Quaid? You betcha! Aiden Breslin is a recently widowed detective. Despite his sadness, he still has to work. As he starts to uncover the clues of his latest case, he starts to discover a startling number of similarities between himself and the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse style killings he's been investigating.

Island of the Fishmen! Get this... a bunch of fishmen... fight to defend their island! As you can guess this movie isn't very deep. It does feature Barbra Bach and her boobies though! And Fishmen.

Orange County Babes whole up in a bar to defend themselves from the onslaught of the living dead! OC Babes and the Slasher of Zombietown stars indie darling Elissa Dowling and is directed by the douchiest of genre names, Creep Creepersin.

If you haven't heard of [REC] by this point in the game, you need to hand in your horror nerd card. The original Spanish version of the US remake "Quarantine", nearly all viewers say that this original is by far the superior version. And it's now for sale in the US!
