New Trailer for Hammer Films' "Wake Wood" released

Newly revitalized production company Hammer Films are at it again, this time releasing a new film in the UK called "Wake Wood." In an attempt to deal with the grief of losing their only child Alice, who was killed by a vicious dog attack, veterinarian Patrick and his wife Louise move to the remote country village of Wake Wood. Of course, things don't go as planned:

New Trailer for "Drive Angry 3D" released

Nicholas Cage in 3D?! You don't need to tell me anything else, I'm already sold. But for those of you who may need a little bit more persuading, here is the plot description from the DRIVE ANGRY 3D Official Site: In the high-octane, 3D action-adventure "Drive Angry 3D", Nicolas Cage stars as Milton, a hardened felon who has broken out of hell intent on finding the vicious cult who brutally murdered his daughter and kidnapped her baby.

Trailer: First Trailer For "Scream 4" Hits

Today we’ve got the first trailer for "Scream 4" and if you liked the original film but have no interest in seeing what the original teenage heartthrobs look like 15 years later then you’re in luck. Out with the old and in with the new seems to be the theme of things here as those dried up old tarts from "Melrose Place" have been replaced by today’s hottest young starlets. I couldn’t be more excited if they had 25% of the cast from "Heroes" in here. Wait they do? Jackpot!

Trailer: "Saw 3D" Is Going to Murder Us All

If I'm to understand the new trailer for "Saw 3D" we're all going to get strapped into the theater and murdered when we go see the film this coming October. Guess what "Saw 3D" makers, I don't want that to happen. I want to see a movie, preferably not the one you're making. I don't want to pay 11 bucks for your 3D and get killed on top of that. The icing on the cake? I think I saw the guy from Linkin Park in there too. No thank you Saw people, no thank you indeed.

On the Next Podcast: "I Sell The Dead"

This week the gang heads back into the basement to check out "I Sell The Dead". The flick recently found its way to DVD after making the festival circuit for almost a year and we've got our grubby little hands all over it. I'm just looking forward to watching something that doesn't involve corpse fucking or genital mutilation.

Trailer: "Suicide Girls Must Die!", Seriously

I'm still not 100% sure what a Suicide Girl is but from what I've seen I'm guessing it's what happens to those girls who sit outside Hot Topic when they grow up. And who wouldn't want to see those girls tossed into the middle of the woods and set in the first ever reality based horror film. I present for your viewing pleasure "Suicide Girls Must Die!". The film is set for a March 12th DVD release and the trailer below has everything you'd ever want from a film like this. Let the fun begin!

Video: "Bioshock 2" Launch Trailer

However strange it may seem, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon has been the go-to place for video game content on the late night scene. Keeping with that theme last night, he debuted this "Bioshock 2" launch trailer, which lays a basic stage for the game.

Retro Trailer: "Begotten"

In the history of heady, mind-altering cinema, "Shadow of the Vampire" director E. Elias Merhige's unforgettable black-and-white freak-out "Begotten" ranks among the very best. The picture's so-called plot is more than a little bizarre, as it deals specifically with the God's self-inflicted disembowelment and the Son of Earth's journey through a twisted lanscape populated with twitchy cannibals.

Trailer For New Slasher Film “Frayed”

“Frayed” isn’t exactly breaking any new ground in the world of slasher films but that may not necessarily be a bad thing. With all the remakes kicking around lately I think we could all use a good old fashion nut
job killing a bunch of kids after they screw type film. I know I could. So “Frayed” might be the answer to all of our prayers and we now have a trailer for the flick that you can view below.

New “Carriers” Poster

A new poster for the little talked about film “Carriers” has hit the intertubes. The movie stars Chris Pine ("Star Trek"), Emily VanCamp, Piper Perabo and a bunch of others you’ll probably recognize as a small band of travelers who are trying to find the last safe place in America after a viral pandemic breaks out and starts killing everyone. Along the way they’re faced with the task of having to battle off those who are already infected and the moral dilemma of having to leave behind those from their group with the disease. It’s a real tear jerker.
