"Pencil Face" Short Film

There are very few things in this great big ol' world that completely creep me out. Spiders -- big or small -- do a pretty good job of getting the goose pimple factory up and running, as do most David Lynch films and people with unreasonable underbites, the latter of which I cannot readily explain. Whatever the case may be, they frighten the hell out of me. All apologies to anyone who might be offended by that statement.

"Sebastian's Voodoo" Short Film

With all of the second-rate short films widely available on the Internet, sometimes it takes a bit of digging to uncover those hidden gems you can't wait to share with your friends. "Sebastian's Voodoo," crafted by the immensely talented folks at the UCLA Animation Workshop, is a personal favorite. It's stylish, haunting, darkly humorous, and, beyond enjoyable.

"Cheerbleeders" started out as a thesis short film for Peter Podgursky. When it was finished the reception was so good that he began to think about developing it into a feature, and so now he's making the rounds, trying to get the word out to help raise money for the full film.

When Breast Implants Attack

Every once in a while a film comes along that changes the way we look at the world today. Movies like “Citizen Kane”, “Gandhi”, “The Godfather” and now “BOOB”. The short film now showing at South by Southwest might possibly be the most important film ever made.

Picture if you will a new form of implant that allows women to enlarge their breasts at any given time. Sounds like a wonderland doesn’t it? Now picture what could happen if a surge of electricity accidentally brings that implant to life. What would happen? I'll tell you... all hell breaks loose my friends.
