Retro Clip: "Killer Klowns From Outer Space" (1988)

When aliens who resemble clowns land on earth in their circus tent to prey on humans, it's up to a group of friends to save the entire town. Yep, that's right folks, we're taking a quick look down memory lane at "Killer Klowns From Outer Space." From being terrified of it as a child to loving every hilarious minute of it as an adult, "Killer Klowns" has easily become one of my go-to horror favorites. Jam packed full of funhouse themed spaceships, popcorn shooting ray guns, deadly pies and an amazingly catchy theme song by the Dickies, this movie has something for everyone.

Retro Clip: "Home Sweet Home" (1981)

Thanksgiving is a time for family, friends, delicious food and booze (lots of it if you're in my family) and.... Body by Jake?! That's right folks, "Home Sweet Home" is a Thanksgiving themed slasher flick starring Jake Steinfeld of Body by Jake fame. Now I am sure this film is god awful, but it may be worth a look to see Jake play "The Killer," an escaped mental patient, high on PCP, who torments a family during Thanksgiving dinner. "Home Sweet Home" also marks an early appearance by Vinessa Shaw ("The Hills Have Eyes" remake) as Angel.

Retro Clip: "Carrie" (1976)

There are a few horror movies that still get me every time I watch them. Although I am not a huge fan of the overall movie, I can watch the ending of "Carrie" over and over again and I will undoubtedly jump every single freakin time. The final scene in which Sue (Amy Irving) visits Carrie's (Sissy Spacek) grave site was actually shot backwards and then reversed to give the scene a dreamlike quality. The scene was also filmed at night and used artificial lighting to create the daytime effect. So take a look at the final scene from "Carrie" below and tell me, what gets YOU every time?

Retro Clip: "Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan" (1989)

In honor of the series' 30th anniversary, AMC Fearfest has been airing parts 1 - 9 of the "Friday the 13th" series this week. Even though only the last 20 minutes or so of "Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan" actually take place in the big apple, I've always enjoyed this one. It will be airing on AMC today at 5:45 PM Eastern time. I don't really think this clip needs much introduction other than the fact that it's hilarious. So, there you go.
