Left 4 Dead

Yesterday, Valve released their free update to "Left 4 Dead," dubbed the "Survival Pack." Included in the update are 2 multiplayer maps (that were formerly just single player maps), general bug fixes and "Survival Mode," a take on the "Horde Mode" concept from Gears of War 2 wherein you and some friends take on a barrage of zombies and aim to survive as long as possible.

I'm hugely disappointed in the amount of "Left 4 Dead" I've been playing lately. I blame it in part on "Peggle," but more on the fact that I've been busy with site and general life stuff and haven't had a decent chunk of time to dedicate to a nice Versus game with some good friends. Unfortunately, the incoming "good weather" might also impede my gaming a bit, but not before I have some time to get my hands dirty with the L4D DLC coming out next week.

It has been a while since I posted something about Valve's "Left 4 Dead," which I regrettably have played very little as of late. Fortunately, that isn't stopping people from producing all sorts of fan art for the game, from Russian dolls to Valentines to porn.

It's been almost two weeks since I posted something about L4D, and we all know that it has been killing me. Thankfully, IGN has posted a handful of videos of the "Survival Mode" that will be included in the free DLC coming "sometime this spring."

When it comes to artsy valentines, Alexandria "Beavotron" Neonakis really has a hold on my heart. Combining vintage art and ironic subject matter, she's crafted impossibly cute Valentines for "Shadow of the Colossus", "Team Fortress 2", "Katamari Damacy", and now, "Left 4 Dead"!
