Grindhouse

Trailer: Unrated "Hobo With a Shotgun" Teaser

With "Machete" finally seeing a release today and all the Grindhouse mania swinging into high gear it's time to take a look at the next fake trailer to make its way into full feature length film land. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls I submit for your approval, "Hobo With a Shotgun".

Snapshot: "Legion's" "Grindhouse" connection.

Kurt Russel poses as "Stuntman Mike" in this promotional still for Quentin Tarantino's "Death Proof", one half of 2007's "Grindhouse". "Legion", in theaters tomorrow, is directed by Scott Stewart, whose resume boasts uncredited effects work on the double feature. "Legion" is Stewart's directorial debut, which hits US theaters tomorrow. Synopsis after the jump.

"Smash Cut", More Pornstars in Horror

If there's a combo for a horror movie that will pretty much guarantee every fan is going to watch it, I would say it’s put a cult icon on screen with a porn star. That’s just putting two and two together, people. Well the producers behind “Smash Cut” are clearly aware of this formula, as they have put David Hess, star of “The Last House on the Left” and “Swamp Thing” alongside the star of “Finger Licking Good: Volume 5” and “House of Ass 3”, Sasha Grey.

House of the Dead "F***s" Game Records

I remember being shocked to hear the word "shit" in "Final Fantasy VII" once upon a time, and needless to say, things have changed. Most mainstream M-rated video games these days should be packaged with a bar of soap to wash their mouths out with. Despite this, some games let their "f**k" flag fly so high that people can't help but take notice, even the people at The Guinness Book of World Records.

Buy the "Death Proof" Car

No, not the cool one. Sorry for the tease. I'll let the Ebay auction do the explaining. You've got 2 days left to bid on movie history people. Because after all, with the economy swirling the toilet on a daily basis, is there a more sound decision than buying a 1997 Honda Civic from an actress off of Ebay?

I think not.

The Last House on the Left (Remake) (REVIEW)

Word of any new genre remake is likely greeted with a shrug by most horror fans. By this point, we've largely had to resign ourselves to the idea that any older film that had any meat on its bones will be brought in for a picking over. Even in that context though, "Last House on the Left" seemed a difficult choice. The 1972 original film that launched Wes Craven's directing career was gritty, brutal, and in many ways, of its time.
