Robert Rodriguez Set To Direct "The Jetsons"

Robert Rodriguez has more projects in the works then you can shake a stick at: “Sin City 2”, Predators” and “Machete” to name a few. Well, add another one to the list because now Rodriguez is on board to direct a live action version of the 60’s cartoon classic “The Jetsons”. Not to much info has been released about the project but it looks like it won’t find it’s way to the big screen till sometime around 2012.

"I Sell The Dead" Trailer

Right after filming on “Hellboy 2” finished, Ron Perlman headed of to the set of “I Sell The Dead”. This past weekend I got a chance to see the trailer for “I Sell The Dead” and hear writer/director Glenn McQuaid give some background on the film. According to McQuaid, Perlman spent the weeks sleeping on the floor using a sound blanket as a bed, until they needed the blanket that is. From the looks of things, Perlman’s suffering was well forth it

Narrows "Gypsy Kids" Video

Yesterday the band Narrows posted a video for the track “Gypsy Kids” which comes of their new CD “New Distances”. Director Craig Murray has created one of the most brutal videos I’ve ever seen. I’m 100% sure this will never find it’s way on to MTV or any other TV channel for that matter in the US. There’s no storyline to it really, but there is a whole lot of mutilation, bare asscheeks and of course blood. I had nightmares last night.

Cannibals Vs. Zombies in "Bled White"

It’s the zombie apocalypse and things couldn’t be going worse. Food is running low, the human race has dwindled down to a small group of survivors, and it’s cold as crap outside. What do you do? The writers of the new film “Bled White” seem to think the only obvious choice is to turn to cannibalism. That’s right everybody, zombies and cannibals in the same film.

Guitar Hero 5 Band List Announced

With E3 off and running this week, we're getting a ton of new game announcements. We've known that Guitar Hero 5 has been in the works for a while, but we now have some information on some of the music that will be featured. Unfortunately, they didn’t announce the songs specifically, but instead a giant list of bands has made its way online. This leaves me with more questions then answers though. Sure you can guess that the Queen/David Bowie song will be "Under Pressure", but what about Elton John? Will it be "Tiny Dancer" or "Benny and the Jets"? What the hell is Bob Dylan doing there?

New "Pandorum" Trailer

In space, no one can hear you ripping off “Alien”. Or at least that’s my initial thought after seeing the trailer for “Pandorum” this past weekend in front of "Drag Me To Hell". The film, which stars Dennis Quiad and Ben Foster as two astronauts who awaken aboard an abandon spaceship is set to open on September 4th.

"The Strain" Gets Two Trailers

A trailer for a book, well now I’ve seen it all! You read it right folks, this week we got a look at two different trailers for the upcoming Guillermo del Toro/Chuck Hogan novel “The Strain”.

The book is set in New York City just after a virus breaks out that turns humans into vampires. A battle begins between the infected and a small group of humans who has yet to turn. We follow the group as they try to save their families and the city we all love so dearly. Think “30 Days Of Night”, only with street meat.

US Trailer For "Dead Snow"

“Ein, Zwei, Die!” It’s a pretty awesome tag line even if it is a bit confusing. Wouldn’t that translate into “one, two, the”? Anyway I haven't taken German class in close to fifteen years so I’m going to ignore that. One thing I am not confused about is that “Dead Snow” looks awesome and after watching the US trailer below you’ll have no choice but to agree with me.

David Twohy's "A Perfect Getaway" Trailer

Leave it to the internet to spoil a good time. When word came out recently that David Twohy’s new film “The Perfect Getaway” would have it’s trailer running this weekend in front of "Drag Me To Hell," it was pretty much a guarantee that you would see it pop up on YouTube beforehand. This is why we can’t have nice things, YouTube! Lucky for us, my suspicions were correct and today we get our first glimpse.

GTA IV: The Ballad of Gay Tony

So it looks like Rockstar may not even bother making another GTA and just continue to make add-ons to their last installment, GTA IV. If you’re like me and played “The Lost and the Damned” update that came out a few months back, you may not see this as a problem. But if biker gangs isn’t your thing maybe you can get into “The Ballad of Gay Tony”. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
