First Look at Kate Beckinsale in "Underworld 4: New Dawn"

Let me make this clear, Trent Reznor has absolutely nothing to do with "Underworld 4: New Breed". But here's the first photo of Kate Beckinsale from the film that doesn't come out for almost a year and all I can think of is she was once an extra in a Nine Inch Nails video and finally found something to do with the outfit she got to keep. Congrats!

Apparently in this little romp Selene, played by Beckinsale, wakes from a 15 year coma to find she has a 14 year old half wolf half vampire daughter.

You "Like" Us You Really "Like" Us!

Or maybe you hate us, I'm not sure yet. But anyway here's some back story. After weeks of bickering and slap fighting the 5 of us from the Bloody Good Horror Podcast couldn't decide if we should watch "Red Riding Hood" for the podcast or not. Don't ask me how but in a group of 5 people the vote kept coming up tied. So we did what any sane group of individuals would do. We asked you guys, who I now realize probably like to see us suffer, if we should watch the movie or not.

You Choose: Should We Watch "Red Riding Hood" For the Podcast?

On March 11th the much anticipated "Red Riding Hood" hits theaters around the country and the world may never be the same. From the trailer and previews it looks like we're being sold a "Twilight" style film with a doe eyed Amanda Seyfried prancing around the woods being harassed by a wolf. So the obvious question comes to mind, should we cover this film for the Podcast? On one side of the fence is the argument that this is a horror film and should be covered by a horror podcast.

Tanya Tate Made a Video For Us!

The internet is a strange and frightening place my friends. With countless sites out there about every topic it's hard to know when your site has officially "made it". Well good people of the internet I can now say without a shred of doubt that Bloody Good Horror has in fact "made it".

Trailer: "The Absent" Has Nudity, Confirmed!

I'm not 100% sure what "The Absent" is about but I know one thing, there will be nudity. I think it's a slasher flick but most of all I know at least one person gets down to her birthday suit. They made it perfectly clear by using the tiny black bar that blocks out the good bits. That is of course unless they actually use the black bar in the movie. God I hope they don't. What a terrible let down that would be.

They also promise music by Blind Melon but don't play any in the trailer. So maybe that's a lie too. I won't be nearly as disappointed about that.

On The Next Podcast: "Night of the Demons"

This week the gang sits down to watch a remake that wasn't good enough to be released in theaters. Yes my friends it's the long awaited, by only me I think, remake of "Night of the Demons". This should work out well.

On The Next Podcast: "Monsters"

This week after a long run of theatrical releases the gang finally gets to stay at home and check out Gareth Edwards' “Monsters”. Despite a decent amount of buzz around this one I still have no idea what it’s about. To be honest even after reading the description I’m still a little clueless. I pray actually watching the movie will resolve this. If not it’s going to be an interesting discussion. Synopsis and trailer after the jump.

Relive Your Childhood With "Organ Trail"

Remember all the joy and fun you had as a kid playing "Oregon Trail"? Or if you're not old I should probably ask if you even remember Oregon Trail at all. If you don't then don't bother looking it up, because the good people at The Men Who Wear Many Hats have made it better. Kids, I present to you "Organ Trail". A revamped version of the Apple classic that features what every game needs, zombies. Load up your station wagon, gather supplies and head off on a cross country adventure. The best part? It's free to play online!

Bloodtoberfest Week 4: You Put What in My Beer?

So now that I've made you all beer experts, you're welcome by the way, I thought it would be nice to explore some of the more unusual ingrediants that brewers are using out there. If you've ever heard someone rant about the big breweries you've probably heard the term "adjuncts" tossed around. They're pretty much any unmalted grain that gets added to a beer, often things like rice or corn that are used to cut costs. In some regions of Bavaria still follow the Reinheitsgebot, a law that dates back to the 16th century that states beer can only be made with water, barley and hops.

Bloodtoberfest Week 3: The Drinking Songs and the Beers To Drink While You Sing Them

If you had the pleasure of being at Horror Hound Weekend last March you may have gotten some video of a bunch of guys dressed up like monsters juggling fire in the courtyard of the hotel. It was an amazing sight. If you have a video of this happening you may also be in for another treat if you turn the volume way up. You may get to hear a jackass screaming Rusted Root’s "Send Me On My Way" in the background. That jackass is me, I like to sing when I get drunk.
