Man, I haven't watched Basketball regularly in years, but if something like this happened every game, I'd be on that shit like white on rice. Or, as it were, tiny break dancers on Shaquille O'Neal.

"Crawler" is a low budget horror flick that caught my attention this morning. Here's the official synopsis:

The nominations for the SEVENTH Annual Rondo Hatton Classic Horror awards have been released, and although we weren't nominated (or hardly any sites I've heard of, coincidentally) some friends and partners of ours were. Caught this in my RSS reader the other day and have been endlessly fascinated by it ever since. This was actually reported by The Witchita Eagle in Kansas. Apparently an amateur shutter bug in the area caught this on his camera the other day.

Did I just say "Jason Slays Box"? Yes... yes I did.

I would say that according to this jackass at Variety, Jason is having one hell of a weekend. Although in order to do that I would have to ignore the fact that the article is subtitled "Freddy's Back". Wait... what?

Here's the first trailer for Quentin Tarantino's World War II sickie "Inglorious Basterds" (mispelling is his). I stopped reporting on it a while ago because it's clearly not a horror film, but I thought I should post this trailer since it's the first real thing we've seen from this film. I think I dig it, although I don't really understand what kind of accent Brad Pitt is supposed to have, and I can't look at the intenionally mispelled title without thinking of the word "turds". Still, Tarantino sure knows how to film some people being dismembered, so I'm excited.

Here's the official Teaser for Rob Zombie's "H2", or "Halloween 2", which apparently the film can't be called because of naming rights. This is very similar to the very first piece of art released for the film, but with some slight changes and a little sprucing up. "H2" will be going in front of cameras within the next few weeks in Georgia, as it preps for its Labor Day 2009 release.

Tom Holland - director of horror classics like "Fright Night" and "Child's Play - dropped us a line today to ask that we help him spread the word about his latest project. It looks like he's going even further down the road of "fan participation" than we've seen up to this point. Here's the Press Release:

This is part of my continued look at the new special edition DVD's for Friday the 13th Parts 1-3, recently released by Paramount Pictures. Is this new disc for the second film worth your cash?

Okay so it's more like a teaser for the sequel to the cult classic starring Jake Gylenhaal, but it still looks pointless. No Richard Kelly? No thanks.
