Ben Templesmith Illustrates "Dracula"

Eisner- and Scream Award-nominated writer/artist Ben Templesmith provides 27 all-new, full-color chapter illustrations for this special presentation of a classic horror novel. Originally published in 1897, Dracula is one of the best-selling and most influential stories of all time.

HBO showed up to the recent San Diego Comic Con with guns blazing over their hit series "True Blood". With one season in the can and six episodes into season two, they are going on a full out media blitz for the remainder of season two.

D.J. Caruso to direct "Dead Space"

Variety reports today that "Distrubia" director D.J. Caruso has been handed the helm to the big screen adaptation of "Dead Space". Still in the early stages, the director and studio are just now shopping around various screenwriters, so as of yet there isn't even a screenplay to be read.

"Dexter" Season 4 Trailer is Here!

The time is drawing near folks. The start of Showtime's "Dexter" is nearly upon us! Season 3 brought us a plethora of near misses and new hurdles for Dexter to jump, now he gets even more new problems to deal with. Namely? Fatherhood!

Below you will find the Season 4 trailer highlighting the fun that's in store. For myself as a fan, this season looks to be playing out pretty damn well. You'll find the introduction of new characters, new puzzles for Dexter to face and a whole lot more. And John Lithgow having sex. Yah, that happened.

"Left 4 Dead 2" - Rumble in the Swamp Video

G4's X-Play recently released a new preview of "Left 4 Dead 2" and to be honest; it looks pretty damn good. Showcasing the four new characters, new melee weapon combat and the swamp level from one of the five new campaigns, it looks like a good change of pace.

"Child's Play" Coming to Blu-Ray

Announced today was the news of more horror classics being rolled out to the Blu-ray format! The latest? "Child's Play"!

Slated for a September 15th release, the disk will be in full 1080p resolution and packed with extras.

Said extras include:

-Commentary with Alex Vincent, Catherine Hicks and “Chucky” designer Kevin Yagher
-Second commentary with Producer David Kirschner and Screenwriter Don Mancini
-Select Scene Chucky Commentaries
-"The Advantages of Being Chucky"

Romero's Next Called "Survival of the Dead"

Having been known as "...Blank of the Dead" since the movie started production late last year, George Romero has now announced that his next film will be titled "Survival of the Dead".

"GEORGE A. ROMERO’S SURVIVAL OF THE DEAD follows a war-weary band of soldiers who are lured to a remote island that promises to be the last paradise on earth, only to discover that even here there is no escape from the appetites of either the living or the dead."

Iron Chef Joins "Bitter Feast"

Are you a Food Network fan? In particular, a fan of Iron Chef America and their roly poly chef Mario Batali? Ever wonder how he'd translate to the silver screen in a full fledged movie?

Yah, neither have I, but it was announced today that Mario Batali will be joinging the cast of "Bitter Feast"!

"Coraline" on DVD and Blu-ray July 21st

Dropping on DVD and Blu-ray this month is the spooky little animated feature, "Coraline"! Directed and adapted by Henry Selick and based on a book by Neil Gaiman, the film was a hit in theaters and made excellent use of the latest RealD tech.

Do note that the DVD edition of the movie will only be available for a limited time, however all editions of "Coraline" will feature both 2D and 3D versions of the film, and come with 4 pairs of 3D glasses!
