To say Klaus Kinski had a reputation as a difficult actor to work with is an understatement. On the set of "Crawlspace", in just three days he managed to start six fistfights with the crew, put the production two days behind schedule and annoyed an Italian producer so much that he had to be talked out of having Kinski killed for the insurance money.
