2009 Halloween Horror Nights Short Film Winner

"Bedfellows", a short film directed by Drew Daywalt, is the winner of this year's "Halloween Horror Nights Short Film Competition." It's simple and I think that is how it succeeds, playing on everyone's fears of waking up in the middle of the night and things not being just right.

Daywalt's film beat out over 100 entries and will receive $1,000 and will play on the Chiller network for the month of October. "Bedfellows" was chosen by a panel of judges that included Kevin Greutert (Director, Saw VI), Thomas Vital (Executive Vice President of Programming and Original Movies, SyFy Channel) and John Murdy (Creative Director, Universal Studios Hollywood).

"Bedfellows", and the top ten other films in the contest can be viewed here.
