Monster-Mania 11 recap

I disappeared these last few days. Monster-Mania devoured my soul. You can visit my magazine's blog to see some pictures. Let me just say, it was a long, hard weekend.
Robert Englund was kept under lock and key so I didn't see him once all weekend. His line was pretty out of control too. Corey Haim was running around making out with broads in the parking lot. Really, I saw it with my own eyes. Jason Mewes was really nice. I think I may be getting too old for this. I bought some nifty t shirts though.

You know Christine, I really wish I had been there, not only to say hello to you, but to oogle Danielle Harris from afar.
I can imagine it would be absolutely impossible to get to Englund, with all of that smoke he'd be blowing up people's asses about Elm St rumors. Either way, this is a con I want to try to make it to next year.

She was looking lovely. I actually went and spoke to her Sunday. Nice lady.
When I had a vendor table at Texas Fear Fest, the dealers and the guests were all in one room. So even though I didn't shell out $45 for Englund to sign something, I could still see him and nod professionally. He and the Coreys were on a whole different floor at MM. It was a circus anytime the popped up anywhere.
Missed it
My wife and I were planning to go for a day but realized that it just got too expensive when you don't own a car since there's no direct transport there from NYC. OH well, at least Fango's convention is back in NYC next year.
