"Jennifer's Body" Red Band Trailer

Much buzz and speculation has been floating around the Megan Fox starring horror thriller "Jennifer's Body". Written by hipster allstar and "Juno" scribe Diablo Cody, no one has been sure what to make of her penning an original horror flick.

Today, the official red band trailer has hit the internet and here it is for you're enjoyment!

For myself, the trailer seems to have plenty of 80's horror sensibilities and does away with Cody's trademark hipster slang dialog. While we all know that Megan Fox is fun to look it, it will be nice to see if she can act well enough to carry a flick for a change. Judging from what we see in the trailer, I'd say she does alright!

"Jennifer's Body" has a tentative release date of September 18th and is directed by Karyn Kusama, helmer of the 2005 action flop "Aeon Flux".

As always, be sure to leave your take on the trailer in the comments below!

Looks to have a funny sort of "Buffy the vampire slayer" vibe to it, but a little more violent. Should be interesting, maybe. I have a feeling it's going to turn out to be kind of annoying though.

I have a feeling it will be really annoying. Of Course, I thought 'Juno' fell face first into the so 'clever' that it wasn't watchable category. At least this one will have gore to help it along.

There I said it! No, I'm not gay, I just think she is highly overrated and extremely high maintenance. I mean how many hours a day do you think she spends on her looks? Besides did you read that rant she went on recently about Michael Bay movies and how they aren't focused on the characters? No Shit! Bite the hand that feeds you why don't you?

The quicker this girl fades into obscurity (aka: Tara Reid) the happier I will be!

This does not look good.

It sort of reminds me of "Idle Hands", only shitty.

Reminds me of the film 'Tamara' from the guys behind Final Destination. Something about Megan Fox in the role just seems really wrong too. In fact the best thing about the trailer is that it credits 'Little Boots' whose a girl from near where I live whose just made it big in the music biz

Juno was a good movie but it wasn't even a screenplay. It also had a bad message. When Juno told her parents that she was pregnant, they reacted as if she cheated on a test. Juno also talked like no other person in existence and it shouldn't have won an Oscar for Best Screenplay. This at least looks interesting if only because Megan Fox is such a fox. (Forgive my horrible pun)
