Anne Hathaway joins the cast of Tim Burton's "Alice", as "The White Queen". I officially have TWO more reasons to be excited for this film.

"Punisher: War Zone" may end up sucking the big one, but this poster display wants you to know there will be lots and lots of guns in it.

Mike Dougherty ("Trick R Treat") is developing a TV series called "Bitches", about 4 female werewolves living in the city. He describes the show as "Sex and the City with werewolves", which actually made me throw up in my mouth a little.

The remake of "The Crazies" is finally going behind cameras. The redux of the 1973 George Romero cult classic is being directed by Breck Eisner.

"Night of the Demons", the remake, is currently filming in New Orleans. And here's a picture of the creepy house they're shooting in. This redux stars Shannon Elizabeth, Monica Keena, Diora Baird and Tiffany Shepis, and is being directed by Adam Gierasch.

Today's awesomely named Indie feature is: "Faster Easter Bunny, Kill, Kill".

Here is the official lineup for the After Dark Horror Fest 3. Most of these have been announced but this is the final lineup with all 7 films. The festival will run in 2009, from January 9th to the 15th.

Can't remember if I posted this on Friday but in case I didn't, here we go. The first still from the "My Bloody Valentine" remake, featuring Jensen Ackles being all dreamy and shit, with some blood in the background. The film is released January 16th.

Hmmm, I would have pegged Walmart to be the place that was selling a Satanic children's doll, but it turns out that this one came from Target. Interesting.

"Mr. Gay UK" arrested for killing a man and then eating a part of his leg. Man, those guys really need to reevaluate their vetting process!

Mayor in Alabama wins talent contest by dressing up in black face. Black face? really? I kind of figured that practice finally went out of style with the whole Ted Danson incident... apparently not. Thanks for keeping racism alive, Alabama!

Hello Heroes fans,

I say "Heroes fans" and not "people who are interested in getting into Heroes", because at this point in the show, it would be virtually impossible for non-fans to watch a brand new episode and to know what the hell is going on. You are here, either because you just watched the last episode "I Am Become Death", or you have watched Season 1 and or Season 2 of the show, and you are wondering- does the 'Heroes' train still has the steam to push it along? My quick answer- Kinda.
